Fathr (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Fathr mobile application (“the App”).
Fathr is a lifestyle and wellness app with optional premium subscriptions, designed to help users visualize and track personal test data and engage with an educational AI Wellness Coach. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
1. Contact Information
- Email address: Collected at signup for account creation and authentication via Firebase Authentication.
- We do not collect your name or other personally identifiable information unless voluntarily provided.
2. Personal Data
- You may voluntarily answer 5–7 optional questions and enter numerical data from third-party test reports.
- This data is used to generate personalized visualizations (e.g., graphs, progress bars) based on reference standards.
- No data is shared, sold, or used for purposes other than providing App functionality.
3. AI Chat Data (Wellness Coach)
- When you use the Fathr Wellness Coach AI, your messages are sent to OpenAI (via our secure backend) to generate responses.
- Messages are anonymized — no email, name, or identifiers are sent.
- We do not store chat history on our servers unless you enable cloud sync (optional, encrypted via Firebase).
- OpenAI may retain anonymized data for up to 30 days for safety and training purposes (per their privacy policy).
- You can report inappropriate AI responses in-app — reported messages are reviewed and may be sent to OpenAI for model improvement (anonymized).
4. App Usage Data
- Anonymous interactions (e.g., screen views, feature usage) are collected to improve the user experience via Firebase Analytics (opt-in only).
5. Crash and Diagnostic Data
- In case of app crashes, we collect:
Device type, OS version, App version, Timestamp, Anonymized diagnostics (via Firebase Crashlytics).
This data does not include personal information.
6. Subscription Data
- For premium subscriptions, we use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases.
- Payment processing is handled by Apple’s StoreKit — we do not collect or store payment details.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Provide core functionality (e.g., user login, data tracking, visualizations)
- Power the AI Wellness Coach with general lifestyle and fertility education
- Generate personalized charts and feedback based on reference standards
- Process subscriptions and manage accounts via RevenueCat
- Maintain and improve app performance
- Respond to user inquiries and reports
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the App’s functionality.
Data Storage and Security
We prioritize your privacy and use industry-standard security measures, including:
- Secure data encryption during transmission (**HTTPS**) and at rest (**AES-256**)
- Optional biometric lock (**Face ID / Touch ID**)
- Secure local storage and optional encrypted cloud sync via Firebase Firestore (if enabled)
- Firebase Firestore access is restricted to authenticated users only
We retain your data only for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where legally required.

No Health or Medical Use
Fathr is not a health or medical app.
- All visualizations, insights, and AI Wellness Coach responses are based on user-entered data for informational and lifestyle purposes only.
- The AI Coach provides general wellness education (e.g., cycle tracking tips, nutrition, stress relief) — not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Future features will remain general and non-health-specific.
- Always consult a healthcare professional for any health-related concerns.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If we discover a child has provided personal data, we will delete it immediately.
Compliance with Laws
We comply with applicable privacy laws, including:
